I love designing wedding flower arbours and arches for our Calgary brides and grooms! There are so many different styles of arbours to choose from including; copper and metal structures, birch arbours and wooden arbours. They make for beautiful wedding ceremony floral pieces and can often be repurposed as decor for behind the sweet heart table, head table or dessert table at the reception.
Scroll down to see the many different types of arbours/arches we've created for past Calgary weddings. Each arbour is tailored to the couple's style and individual preferences. In some cases the grooms made the arbours with their amazing carpentry skills!
This copper and wood arbour was used for Rhonda and Jason's April wedding at Gunn's Dairy Barn at Heritage Park. How perfect does their first kiss look under this floral arbour of tulips, roses and hydrangea?! Photos: TK Shotz
Kathleen and Scott celebrated a winter wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge near Field, BC. Scott constructed their wooden ceremony arbour for the reception and we designed the bright pink and berry toned florals for the arbour. Photos: Orange Girl
Abi & James had a fall wedding on Bonterra's outdoor tuscan terrace. The metal arbour was rented from Bella Linens and we used bright pink, peach and coral roses and greenery for a vibrant, Italian inspired archway that was perfect for a Calgary wedding at Bonterra Trattoria. The couple's wedding planner Christy from Beyond the proposal moved the floral arbour behind the sweetheart table for the reception. Photos: Sarah Pukin

Carey and Luke were married at Luke's family ranch near Cochrane, Alberta. He created the thick beamed arbour complete with antlers, that we attached florals too. Photos: Alan Maudie Planner: Emerson & Co Weddings
A spring wedding at Charbar, in Calgary's East Village, called for a copper arbour decorated with white tulips, hydrangea and roses. The floral arbour doubled as a backdrop for the couple's sweet heart table during the reception. Photos: Corrina Walker Photography Planner: Kismet and Clover
