Love wins and this post is about flowers and love winning in 2020!
This year in review of 2020 showcases the bridal bouquets that we created for all of the couples who were still able to celebrate their love with intimate weddings and elopements despite the global Covid19 pandemic. There was much more colour used in designs this year because I think we all needed more cheer, vibrant colours and happiness.
I've never been so happy to design bouquets than I was this year! I had tears in my eyes as I designed my first bouquet in May at the end of our first quarantine/lockdown. At the start of the pandemic we weren't even sure we'd have a wedding season but thankfully we did have a small one filled with beautiful blooms! This blog is to highlight each bridal bouquet created during 2020 as well as a few engagement bouquets that I had the privilege of designing for some new brides to be! It also includes a photo of the bouquet I designed for my own 10 year anniversary vow renewal this year! I've listed the month each bouquet was designed in so that you can see which blooms were available at the time in case there is a bouquet you absolutely adore! There are 37 bouquets featured below. I'd love to hear which are your favorites in the comments below!
A huge thank you to our local flower growers Forage and Design Flowers and Field Flower Farm for providing the majority of the blooms for these bouquets along with Florists Supply and United Floral Inc.
Thank you for making this year special despite the circumstances and for supporting our business!
xo Janie
