What Flower Dreams Are Made Of

September ended with a stunning wedding at a private estate south of Calgary. Everything about the day was absolutely perfect for celebrating Kailey + Kyle's love!

The florals, along with photos, were our bride's top two priorities! Chi, the wedding planner from Modern Rentals, understood the importance of these two elements and helped Kailey with her vision of a luxurious garden party filled with white, blush, and mauve florals.

We brought this vision to life with an oversized wedding arch measuring 11ft tall by 8ft wide by 4ft thick! Weighing over 300lbs, this arch was designed with over 1,000 stems of flowers. The underlying mechanics ensured everything was firmly in place so that when the amazing team at Modern Rentals moved it 200 meters across the property to become the entrance for the couple's tented reception, everything stayed in tact! Not only did all the blooms stay in the arch, we were able to add extra florals that were saved for breakage to make it even fluffier!

This garden party was enhanced with a cascading waterfall of fresh flowers off the front of our couple's 8ft long sweetheart table that added a truly elegant feel to their tented reception. Along with the centerpieces, hedges, floral columns, and other floral decor, our team is incredibly happy with how everything came together!

This design process was accomplished alongside our amazing team of 15 designers and set-up crew with over a week of flower processing and designing. From loading, transporting, designing, to all of the on-site floral installations, our team loved every minute of it and are so grateful to have designed all the florals for the happy couple!

Not only were Kailey and Kyle wonderful to work with, but their families were the most kind and gracious people! We donated most of their flowers to the YW Calgary on their behalf!
