Tented Wedding at Ridge Meadows Estate
Meagan and Ty were our first couple to get married right after Alberta officially opened for summer and let up all restrictions after the Covid19 pandemic. They were married on July 3rd after a week of record breaking heat which we typically don't get in Alberta until August! Thankfully the temperature went down to a balmy 26 degrees Celsius for their outdoor wedding and tented reception that took place at Ridge Meadows Estate in Bearspaw.
The newly renovated private estate is the perfect place for a destination wedding near Calgary. The couple hosted their rehearsal dinner (catered by Flores & Pine) at the estate on Friday evening and stayed in the guest rooms along with their parents and bridal party for the weekend. The venue also has a private golf course that only guests have access to which was amazing as the groom and groomsmen are professional hockey players and definitely took advantage of the private course.
We worked closely along side the team of Moments by Madeleine to create the florals Meagan envisioned for her big day. The flowers were kept to neutral shades of white and ivory and were designed for a luxe, garden wedding feel with tall and low centerpieces for interest on the guest tables. We created a 20ft long grounded floral arch for their ceremony that took place in front of the pond with the golf course as the backdrop. We used our favorite flowers for this time of year including peonies, ranunculus, Alabaster garden roses, phlox, bouvardia, hydrangea, Playa Blanca roses and more!
The photos by Justine Milton are just the dreamiest. What a magical day! Congrats to the happy couple!
