Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Wedding
In July 2021 Christie and Brendan were officially married in the gardens at Rouge Restaurant in Calgary. After two years of waiting, they were finally able to celebrate their marriage with all of their family and friends at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge after postponing from July 2020.
The bride's parents and grandparents were both married at Fairmont properties so naturally Christie and Brendan carried on the tradition. Many guests traveled from the UK to celebrate with the couple and it really was a joyous occasion after the pandemic had put a damper on their plans twice.
Our floral team traveled from Calgary to be on site for two days at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge- such an incredible road trip if you've never been! The couple were married in an outdoor ceremony overlooking Lac Beauvert with stunning mountain peaks in the background. We created a grounded floral arch in the shape of a semi circle for the ceremony. We wanted the design to look natural and not obstruct the beautiful view. There were also floral hedges lining the aisle- flowers everywhere! All of the ceremony flowers were moved to the reception and repurposed there.
It was such a gorgeous day in Jasper National Park and our team was so honoured to be able to be there with the bride and groom and bring their dream wedding florals to life for the second time.
We absolutely loved working with Christie and Brendan for both their ceremonies; their minymony/micro wedding at Rouge (see photos here) as well as at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. The same bride and groom but completely different wedding looks (both amazing)!
We worked closely with the team from Moments by Madeleine to execute both weddings seamlessly and just had the best time. Scroll down to see all of the beautiful photos from Natalie Andrusiak Photography. A full vendor list can be found at the bottom of the page.
