Enchanting Wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel

Amidst a beautiful summer at the end of August, Victoria and Mark celebrated their love at the historical Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. After months of planning and design meetings with Renée, lead planner at Julianne Young Weddings, the couple's vision was brought to life!

Their outdoor ceremony took place at the hotel's famous outdoor terrace, with gusts of wind lifting the bride's veil and creating a whimsical ambiance for when the couple said their I do's. The aisle florals lead up to the two floral columns that leaned inward to resemble an arch-like backdrop. We ensured the floral columns and aisle florals were secured and weighted which allowed them to withstand even the strongest winds during the couple's ceremony!

Their reception took place in the grand Mt. Stephen Hall, decorated with smilax entry-ways that gave an enchanting feel to the room. The entrance was embellished with smilax vines and florals "growing" up the wall. Guests were welcomed by a champagne bar surrounded by the floral columns from their ceremony! There were florals hung from the balconies and luxurious centrepieces on every table. This room was truly a fairy-tale-like reception filled with fresh florals in every corner!

Victoria's mom, Janice, reached out to Janie when Mark was planning the proposal. She had an idea to surprise Victoria with a room full of flowers at their surprise engagement party the night of the proposal. Janie was so delighted when they also asked her to be their wedding florist!
